About Tubora — Engineering Steel for a Stronger Tomorrow
Tubora is a steel pipe and hollow section manufacturer focused on producing dependable ERW steel pipes, CHS, SHS and RHS for construction, infrastructure, agriculture and industrial applications.
Who we are
About Tubora
Tubora Pipes is the flagship steel tube brand of Singhaniya Steel and Power (P) Limited. From its plant at Banari in Janjgir-Champa, Chhattisgarh, the company manufactures ERW steel pipes and steel hollow sections on high-frequency induction welding lines, with an annual production capacity of 90,000 MTS.
The range covers circular hollow sections (CHS) to IS 1161 and square and rectangular hollow sections (SHS and RHS) to IS 4923, in sizes from 25 mm to 219 mm and wall thicknesses from 1.6 mm to 8 mm. Each section is produced through a controlled forming, welding and sizing sequence, so wall thickness, straightness, corner profile and cut length stay within specification from the first tube of a run to the last.
Those sections go into building frames and industrial sheds, infrastructure and transmission work, borewell and irrigation lines, solar mounting structures and general fabrication. A distribution network of more than 800 dealers keeps rolled sizes available close to the project site, and most Tubora relationships are built on repeat supply schedules rather than one-off orders.

What we manufacture
Our Steel Pipe & Hollow Section Products
Tubora manufactures steel pipe and hollow section solutions designed for structural, industrial and fabrication applications.

Circular Hollow Sections (CHS)
Steel circular hollow sections designed for structural frameworks, columns, fabrication and engineering applications.

Square Hollow Sections (SHS)
Square hollow sections for structural frameworks, fabrication, solar structures and a wide range of engineering applications.

Rectangular Hollow Sections (RHS)
Rectangular hollow sections for construction, infrastructure, industrial fabrication and structural applications.
Manufacturing capability
From Steel Coil to Finished Product
Every Tubora section follows the same route through the mill. The sequence below is what keeps a 200 mm square section rolled in the morning identical to one rolled the same evening.

Raw Material
HR coil is sourced from approved suppliers and checked for chemistry, thickness and width before release to the mill.

Forming
Slit strip passes through forming rolls that progressively shape flat steel into a closed circular profile.

ERW Welding
High-frequency induction welding fuses the strip edges without filler metal, and the outer bead is trimmed in line.

Sizing
Sizing stands bring the welded tube to its final outside diameter, or to a square or rectangular profile with defined corner radii.

Cutting
Sections are cut to ordered length, with end finish and squareness checked at the mill exit.

Quality Inspection
Dimensions, weld integrity and surface condition are inspected against the applicable IS standard and recorded.

Finished Product
Sections are bundled, marked and stacked for dispatch to dealers and project sites across India.
Controlled process,
predictable product
Consistency in steel pipes comes from control rather than correction. Mill parameters are set for each size before a run begins and monitored while it is running, so wall thickness, outside diameter, corner radii and length stay inside the tolerance band instead of drifting towards it. That matters on site, where sections have to slot into an existing frame, sit square in a jig, or weld cleanly without packing and re-cutting — and it is the reason a controlled ERW line produces sections that behave the same way in the tenth structure as in the first.
Engineering & precision
Built Around Precision
Structural and industrial work leaves little room for variation. Consistent dimensions, controlled forming and welding, accurate sizing and documented inspection are what make a section usable straight off the truck.

Dimensional Accuracy
Outside diameter, wall thickness, squareness and length are held to the tolerances defined in IS 1161 and IS 4923.

Controlled Manufacturing
Mill settings are fixed per size and monitored through the run, so the last section of a batch matches the first.

Welding Quality
High-frequency induction welding forms a continuous fused seam without filler metal, followed by in-line bead trimming.

Inspection & Testing
Dimensional, mechanical and surface checks are carried out before release, with test certificates maintained.

Why Tubora
Why Choose Tubora?
Manufacturing Focus
Tubora manufactures steel pipes and hollow sections — not a catalogue of unrelated products. The mill, the tooling and the team are built around that one process.
Consistent Product Quality
Manufacturing and inspection processes are set up to hold dimensional and product consistency across a batch, so sections behave predictably in fabrication and on site.
Reliable Supply
A network of more than 800 dealers across India supports dependable availability of rolled sizes and repeat supply against project schedules.
Industry Experience
14+ years of manufacturing experience in ERW steel pipes and hollow sections, backed by the resources of Singhaniya Steel and Power (P) Limited.
Quality
Quality Built Into Every Product
Quality is checked at four points, not one. Material is verified before it reaches the mill, parameters are controlled while the section is being formed, dimensions are measured after sizing, and the finished bundle is inspected before it is released for dispatch.
Tubora products are manufactured to Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) specifications for steel pipes and tubes, and carry ISI marking. Where a project or export order calls for it, dimensions, mechanical properties and test methods are aligned to BS and ASTM norms. Full details of Tubora’s quality control process and testing standards are documented on the Quality page.
Raw Material Checks
Only certified HR coil from approved suppliers is accepted. Chemical and physical properties are verified against the mill test certificate before the coil enters production.
Manufacturing Process Control
Forming, welding and finishing run to documented parameters for each size, with in-line checks through the run rather than at the end of it.
Dimensional Inspection
Outside diameter or section size, wall thickness, corner profile, straightness and cut length are measured against the applicable IS standard.
Finished Product Inspection
Weld integrity, surface condition and marking are checked on the finished section. Material is released for dispatch only after quality approval, with test certificates maintained.
Where each product fits
Matching the Section to the Job
Profile decides behaviour. Circular sections carry torsion and wind well, square sections connect and jig easily, rectangular sections give depth where bending governs.

Trust
Trusted Across Industries
Tubora supplies through a network of more than 800 dealers and distributors with pan-India reach, so material moves from the Chhattisgarh plant to project sites without long waits for a rolled size. Fabricators, infrastructure contractors, solar EPCs and industrial buyers order against the same schedules season after season.
Manufacturing presence
Tubora Manufacturing Facility

As a steel pipe manufacturer in Chhattisgarh, Tubora produces from a single integrated plant at Banari on NH-49, close to the central Indian steel belt. That location keeps coil inbound routes short and puts finished sections within reach of dealers across the country — which is what allows a steel pipe manufacturer in India to hold delivery commitments on project schedules.
